We took the 350 First Bus from Delph to Woodend Mill in Mossley to visit an artist called Chris Cyprus. I really like his paintings and had planned to buy a couple of prints to take home. It was a nice walk through the bush, even though it was drizzling. Chris arranged to have the prints, which cost around 300 pounds, mounted and sent to us, which was easier than trying to take them with us.
We arrived by bus back in Delph in time for an afternoon drink at the Swan hotel, and then booked for dinner at the Old Bell Inn, a gin specialty pub.
We had a drink for old times sake at the Delph Band Club then caught up with Anne and Phil before going for tea and gin. Another early night.
